Activate Your Leadership Superpowers: How Step Into Your Confidence & Impact

Have You Been Inspired by the Women Around You?

One of the most powerful aspects of being part of our Self Led Woman Community and our podcast Babes Talking Business is the ability to sit at the table with women who embody leadership, confidence, and resilience. But what if I told you that the very traits you admire in others are already within you? That the qualities you recognize in them are simply reflections of what you’re capable of?

Take a moment to think about the women who inspire you. Is it their energy? Their certainty? Their ability to show up even on hard days? Their unwavering belief in themselves and their vision? Now, ask yourself: Where in your life have you already embodied these traits?

Too often, we admire others without realizing we’ve already displayed the very strengths we aspire to develop. Maybe you’ve shown resilience in motherhood, confidence in past career moves, or unwavering determination in your personal growth. Recognising these moments is the first step to activating those superpowers in every aspect of your life and business.

Your Strengths Are Already Within You

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by self-doubt, it’s time to reframe your narrative. Instead of questioning whether you’re “good enough” to step into leadership, consider this:

  • Where have you shown up despite fear?

  • When have you supported others in a way that you wish to be supported?

  • What moments in your past prove you are capable of stepping into your fullest potential?

Every woman who has achieved success in business, leadership, and life has faced fear. The difference? They didn’t let it stop them. They tapped into their courage and took action anyway.

The Power of Servant Leadership: Stop Making It About You

One of the most powerful mindset shifts you can make is moving from self-doubt to servant leadership. So many of us hesitate to step into our light because we’re caught up in the stories we tell ourselves:

  • What if I’m not good enough?

  • What if people judge me?

  • What if I fail?

But here’s the truth: It’s not about you—it’s about who you’re meant to help. It’s about the women who are waiting for you to show up. It’s about the impact you can make when you decide to lead, to be visible, and to serve. Your job is not to have all the answers. Your job is to go first—to be the example so others can follow.

When you get out of your own way and shift into a mindset of service, everything changes. You stop worrying about what others think and start focusing on who and how you can help. You stop worrying about selling - and instead focus on serving. You stop worrying about conversion - and instead focus caring and connection. That’s true feminine led sales and leadership.

Overcoming the Shitty Stories Holding You Back

Let’s get real: We all have limiting beliefs that hold us back. Maybe you’re telling yourself:

  • “I’m too busy to be consistent.”

  • “I don’t have what it takes to lead others.”

  • “What if people judge me?”

  • “I can’t have it all.”

  • “I’m not worthy.”

Now, let’s challenge those thoughts:

  • Are you really too busy? Or are you just not prioritising your business or career the way you prioritise other daily habits?

  • Who says you can’t lead others? Have you ever supported a friend, your children, mentored someone, or been a source of encouragement? That’s leadership.

  • Will people judge you? Yes. But what are you afraid of them actually thinking? Be specific. Is there any truth in that? Are you going to let that stop you from creating the life or impact you desire?

The truth is, we get to choose the stories we tell ourselves. So why not choose an empowering one?

Taking Action: Your Business Requires You to Go First

Success in business isn’t about waiting until you feel ready. It’s about taking action before you feel ready. That means:

  • Sharing your story, even when it feels vulnerable

  • Mastering skillsets my doing the reps and trying new things. Competence leads to confidence.

  • Inviting others to look at your product, service or opportunity, even when you fear rejection

  • Leading with authenticity, even when it’s uncomfortable because you’re more concerned about helping the person get the results or outcome they desire.

You stop hesitating and start taking bold action. And most importantly, you create a ripple effect—activating the light in others simply by turning on your own. You then become a mirror reminding and mirroring other women the superpowers and gifts that are available within themselves to.

Activate Your Superpowers: The Action Plan

  1. Identify Where You’ve Already Been the Woman You Aspire to Be – Write down a list of past experiences where you embodied confidence, leadership, or resilience - or the traits you have admired externally in others.

  2. Call on Your Superpowers – Recognise that you already have the tools within you to succeed. You’ve used them before, and you can use them again.

  3. Shift from Fear to Service – When self-doubt creeps in, remind yourself: Who needs to hear this? Who can I help today?

  4. Take Messy Action – Stop waiting to be perfect. Start now, refine later.

  5. Reframe Your Inner Dialogue – If a limiting belief comes up, challenge it. Replace it with a more empowering statement.

The difference between the women who make it happen and those who stay stuck? They show up. Even when it’s scary. Even when it’s messy. Even when they don’t have it all figured out. Successful women don’t know more - they just do more. They make more moves.

The Final Question: Who Are You Robbing?

The women you admire are simply showing you what’s already possible for you. Now, it’s your turn to step up, activate your superpowers, and lead.

If you continue to sit on the sidelines, who are you robbing of the opportunity to transform their life? Who is waiting for you to go first so they can follow? For you to show them what’s possible?

Your ability to lead, inspire, and build something extraordinary isn’t about being fearless—it’s about showing up despite the fear. Because when you do, you give others permission to do the same.
